Participating in Mega Tourism Events – Hong Kong Young Ambassador Scheme

The Hong Kong Young Ambassadors serve in mega events held by various organisations, covering festive celebrations, traditional culture, arts, sports and outdoor activities. They promote Hong Kong’s festivities and extend warm welcome to visitors. With their creativity and teamwork, they design game booths to enhance the travelling experience of tourists in Hong Kong. Last year, some Young Ambassadors even flew to Hangzhou and Shanghai to volunteer at the 19th Asian Games Hangzhou and the 6th China International Import Expo, showcasing the hospitable image of Hong Kong to the world.

The Hong Kong Young Ambassadors participated in the International Chinese New Year Night Parade, holding banners, leading floats and distributing goodie bags to spread good luck.

The Hong Kong Young Ambassadors joined the countdown on New Year’s Eve, introducing the schedule of firework musical shows and distributing souvenirs. During this joyous occasion, they counted down together to welcome the new year.

At the 2024 Tissot UCI Track Nations Cup (Hong Kong, China), the Hong Kong Young Ambassadors welcomed spectators, escorted  athletes to the doping control station and .assisted in the smooth execution of the award ceremony.

The Hong Kong Young Ambassadors participated in the Sik Sik Yuen Wong Tai Sin Temple Open Day, hosted game booths and provided guided tour services for miniature exhibitions, aiming to deepen visitors’ understanding of the history of Wong Tai Sin Temple.

The Hong Kong Young Ambassadors participated in the Cheung Chau Bun Festival, where they welcomed guests in the official grandstand and assisted in beating drums and carrying flags during the Piu Sik Parade, demonstrating their support for local festivities.

The Hong Kong Young Ambassadors designed various art workshops, including flower plaque making, grasshopper weaving and herbarium design, to promote Hong Kong’s cultural craftsmanship.
