Training Programme
The 5-week intensive training programme comprised workshops
Visits to organizations, talks, as well as a “Young Service Stars” Competition

Workshops led by professional trainers on service skills and concepts, team-building exercises, problem-solving activities, programme planning as well as hospitality and tourist reception skills.

In order to provide participants with a comprehensive overview of Hong Kong, visits to organizations from the following sectors will be arranged:
  Corporations with Customers Service Excellence Practices    
  Environmental Protection and Heritage Conservation    
  Leisure, Culture and Art    

Talks by professionals and academics on various topics such as tourism projects and future development plans.

To inculcate participants with the right service excellence mindset and skills in customer service, and help them to spread the 
message of hospitality and service excellence within and outside their schools, they will have a chance to meet with member organizations of the Hong Kong Association for Customer Service Excellence and are required to participate in a “Young Service Stars” Competition that involves:

-Essay Competition on customer service excellence: Writing an sharing on experience of learned knowledge and skills in customer service. Three awards will be given to participants who could give a good overview of the things that have been learned and highlight the insights derived.
-Group project: Participants have to work in groups to design and develop creative ideas to promote customer service excellence and 
implement the projects during their term of service. Based on creativity, impact and effectiveness, three awards will be given to outstanding groups.
